Taming the Smile

Point?
Embrace the vagrant waste of time.

Embrace,
Every subtle moment had resides here,
Embrace,
Every lost little grasp of logic is long gone,
As are all those movements, to that song,
All those words, all leafs scattering through
These wirlwinding dialogues, all we never knew
Was never that complete, just another stem
Buried in, just another thought spread too thin,
And merely because I simply stated,
As in the end, I was all you ever hated

Forget those irregular flaws or the methodic laws
Nothing could ever bring you back
From your flawless impersonation of yourself.
A masquerade kept for so long, the bearer
Gently washed way, with its sustained grace
Leading in dismay.
Nothing left, but flickering imprints,
Quietly waiting for the next wave to hit
Counting seconds 'till the moment to quit.

Still, in our empty shell, let's pretend that all is well.
